In the early morning hours of Monday, 13 February 2023, and with the support of Channel Nine, our club hosted a successful barbecue for the crew and guests of the channel at the Bulldogs’ stadium in Belmore.
The sizzle was for the morning show on Channel Nine which was covering the kickoff of the American Superbowl in which Jordan Mailata is participating with the Philadelphia Eagles. Mailata was born in Bankstown and attended Condell Park High School in NSW.
During the event, we cooked and served a few dozen sandwiches and had lots of fun with the Channel Nine crew and some of the players.
