Activities
Food Drives
Hunger is one of the global causes that the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) adopt. As the Canterbury Bankstown Lions, we organise food drives to feed the hungry as one of our many service activities.
Monthly Meetings
Not only are meetings great to plan our service activities, but they also provide room for fellowship and fun. We meet the first Wednesday of every month at Bankstown RSL.
Sausage Sizzles
Although being a Lions is not only about food and sausage sizzles, conducting one of those for a worthy cause every once in a while is a fun and fulfilling experience.
Lions of Canterbury Bankstown
The City of Canterbury Bankstown is a huge and vibrant area with a multitude of ethnicities, faiths, and backgrounds living together and celebrating one another’s cultural differences.
As in all communities anywhere in the world, there are always people in need of help and support whether financially, socially, or emotionally. Each member of the Lions Club of Canterbury Bankstown believes in certain social causes, so we bring those to the table and work on plans and activities to help make things better as much as possible. The beauty of Lions is in the limitless causes that we work for. As we always say: where there is a need, there is a Lion!
